PMC 6 – active 2-way studio monitor with ATL™ bass loading technology. In a compact cabinet, it delivers the same sonic signature as PMC's renowned larger monitors, offering exceptional resolution and mix confidence at every listening level.

At its core is a bespoke 6-inch bass driver with 20mm of excursion, engineered specifically to integrate with PMC's latest ATL™ bass-loading and Laminair™ airflow technologies. This combination provides bass extension, headroom, dynamics, and low distortion that outperforms most 8-inch monitors. High frequencies are handled by a 1-inch PMC soft-dome tweeter with a shallow waveguide, delivering wide and tonally consistent dispersion with precise stereo imaging.

Both drivers are powered by individual 200W ultra-low-distortion Class-D amplifiers. A sophisticated DSP engine automatically adjusts the crossover for portrait or landscape placement, ensuring optimum tonal accuracy and phase coherence. The monitor is calibrated via rear-panel controls or the browser-based SoundAlign™ software. It can also be expanded into a full-range PMC 6 XBD system by pairing it with a PMC subwoofer, extending bass response down to 25Hz.
