The Erica Synths Bassline DB-01 is an analogue monophonic desktop synthesiser with a sequencer and a very charismatic sound. The completely analogue sound is generated by an oscillator with three waveforms (sawtooth, triangle, square), a noise generator and a transistor-based sub-oscillator. Two additional BBD (bucket brigade circuits) lines in the oscillator section enrich the basic sound and emulate the VCO detuning and sounds one would expect from polysynths. For spectrum processing, distortion and a switchable low-pass/pass filter are provided, which are sonically inspired by Polivox and included in Erica Synths' Acidbox. The Erica Synths Bassline DB-01 synthesiser is complemented by two decay envelopes for VCF and VCA,
anLFO with multiple waveforms and a CV input with attenuator, further enhancing the modulation possibilities.
Sequencer TBThe
clear sequencer provides, among other things, the Accent and Slide authentic feel of the TB-303. 128 patterns
of up to 64 steps can be programmed. Additional functions such as shuffle, arpeggio and Random incredibly enhance your work with sequences and keep you from getting bored.
the connection side, the Erica Synths Bassline DB-01 is comprehensively equipped with MIDI, Clock and CV/Gate inputs and outputs. Additional CV inputs for Cutoff and FM add to the modulation possibilities.
