Arturia MicroFreak Stellar Limited Edition is a limited series of paraphonic digital synthesizer Arturia MicroFreak with 25 touch-sensitive force keys, 12 digital oscillators, cycling envelope and ADSR envelope, 64-step sequencer, analog filter, modulation matrix, arpeggiator, and a special cosmic-themed design.

MicroFreak Stellar Limited Edition combines digital generators with an analog filter, advanced modulation, and an updated design with quirky cosmic-themed graphics. Along with the release of MicroFreak Stellar, another firmware update was released for all users of the MicroFreak series, introducing user sample import, updated Sampler engine, and 3 Granular engines. MicroFreak Stellar and firmware update V5 bring 21 different oscillator modes, allowing you to make your sound deeper and more whimsical.

MicroFreak is a collaboration with the creators of Mutable Instruments modular synthesizers, who worked on creating the Plaits synthesizer engine.

MicroFreak Stellar Limited Edition features a flat, PCB-styled keyboard. The synthesizer combines digital generators with 12 waveforms and an Oberheim SEM analog filter with three operating modes.

Despite its small size, MicroFreak Stellar Limited Edition features a modulation matrix with 5 modulation sources and 7 destinations, with 3 points available for user selection. Matrix control is done with a push knob, and the process can be monitored using the OLED screen.

The cycling envelope allows for an extended looping mode, turning it into an LFO with variable rise, hold, and fall times, with exponential, linear, or logarithmic curves.

The dual-mode arpeggiator/sequencer features Spice and Dice modes, controlled by a touch strip adjusting the sequence impact level.
