ollo-audio-x2
Ollo Audio X2

Ollo Audio X2 are open-back, over-ear studio headphones for producing and mixing, voiced for a neutral, balanced response before any correction is applied. A 50 mm dynamic driver with a beryllium-coated PET and PU diaphragm sits in American walnut cups, and every pair ships with its own calibration file. They are built to check a mix, not to flatter it.

Mixes that translate to other systems

The real cost of mixing on headphones is decisions made on a coloured response: too little low end because the cans add it, or dull top because a bright driver masks it. The X2 leave the factory with a flat response, and Unit Specific Calibration (USC) corrects the tolerance of your individual pair. Ollo quotes about 1 dB of deviation with USC and about 2 dB without software. The USC file is open, human-readable EQ data: load it into the included AU, VST or AAX plugin on macOS and Windows, into any DAW equaliser, or into hardware DSP. The calibration values are also printed on a measurement sheet in the box.

Long sessions without fatigue

At 383 g without the cable, with a spring steel headband and a replaceable artificial leather strap, the X2 stay comfortable through a long mix. The acoustic foam pads combine perforated artificial leather with velour, and the clamping force is set to hold the target response on a standard head width. The 2 m Y cable with separate mini XLR plugs for left and right is easy to swap, and the parts can be replaced with ordinary tools. As an open-back design they leak sound, so the X2 belong in the control room for mixing and critical listening rather than in front of a microphone. You can try them in our Warsaw showroom before you buy.

KEY FEATURES

Open-back, over-ear design with a neutral, balanced sound

50 mm dynamic driver with neodymium magnet

Beryllium-coated (PVD) PET diaphragm with PU layer

Unit Specific Calibration: EQ file plus AU, VST and AAX plugin

Printed calibration sheet included

American walnut ear cups

Detachable Y cable with mini XLR for left and right channels

Parts replaceable with ordinary tools

Hard carrying case included

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Type: open-back, over-ear

Driver: dynamic, 50 mm, neodymium magnet

Impedance: approx. 32 Ohm

Sensitivity: 108 dB SPL at 0 dBu (0.775 V RMS, 1 kHz)

Frequency range: 8 Hz - 22 kHz

THD: below 0.157% at 85 dB SPL, 1 kHz

Ear pads: 95 mm outer diameter, 57.5 mm inner diameter, 20 mm deep

Materials: American walnut, aluminium, stainless steel, spring steel, silicone, artificial leather, velour

Cable: detachable, 2 m, OFC copper with silicone jacket, Y mini XLR

Plug: 3.5 mm jack with screw-on 6.3 mm adapter

Weight: 383 g without cable

In the box: headphones, cable, 6.3 mm adapter, hard case, calibration sheet, access to the USC file and plugin
