The iRing uses a ring with identifiable markers, the front camera of the device and recognition algorithms built into an app to determine the position of the markers. The app converts them into music commands or MIDI messages that any compatible app can read. They are light, comfortable and have a universal fit. The included apps are iRing Music Maker, in which a beginner plays with gestures, and iRing FX\/Controller, in which a musician or DJ builds custom MIDI setups and adds audio effects, also together with other apps through Inter-App Audio or Audiobus.
